Xiaomi has Established three new RedmiBook models in China.
The RedmiBook 13, RedmiBook 14, and RedmiBook 16 are all powered by AMD Ryzen 4000 series processors and come in numerous configurations with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. As its name suggests, they come in 13-inch, 14-inch, and 16-inch versions, with slender bezels. The three thin and light laptops will go on sale beginning June 1. As of this moment, they are up for pre-sale.
RedmiBook 13, RedmiBook 14, RedmiBook 16: Cost
The RedmiBook 13 comes in three configurations. The AMD Ryzen 5 4500U CPU/ 8GB RAM/ 512GB SSD version is priced at CNY 3,799 (approximately Rs. 40,200), the AMD Ryzen 5 4500U CPU/ 16GB RAM/ 512GB SSD variant is priced at CNY 3,999 (approximately Rs. 42,300), and also the AMD Ryzen 7 4700U CPU/ 16GB RAM/ 1TB SSD variant is priced at CNY 4,999 (roughly Rs. 53,000). The RedmiBook 13 is listed in a silver color option.
The RedmiBook 14 and the RedmiBook 16 come in the exact same three CPU and RAM versions, the sole difference being that there is not any 1TB SSD option. They are all only available with 512GB of storage. As per a report by Gizmochina, the three variants using 512GB storage are priced at CNY 3,799, CNY 3,999, and CNY 4,499 (roughly Rs. 47,700) respectively. The RedmiBook 14 comes at a silver variant although the RedmiBook 16 comes at a grey version.
All three laptops will go on sale from June 1, but an early sale is currently going on till May 31. As of this moment, there is not any information on availability of those laptops in the worldwide industry.
The RedmiBook 13, RedmiBook 14, and the RedmiBook 16 share the same layout aesthetic and are powered by the 7nm AMD Ryzen 4000 series mobile CPUs. Notably, the RedmiBook 13 has a version using all the Ryzen 7 CPU, 16GB RAM, along with a 1TB PCle SSD. The images are managed from the AMD Radeon integrated graphics chipset.
All 3 thin and light laptops come with full-HD (1920x1080 pixels) screens with 60Hz refresh rate and while the RedmiBook 13 and RedmiBook 14 possess 250nits of brightness, the RedmiBook 16 extends around 300nits. The 13 and 14-inch models of the RedmiBook are backed by 40Wh batteries while the 16-inch version is backed by a marginally bigger 46Wh battery. For connectivity, each of three laptops come with two USB Type-C ports, a regular USB Type-A port, an HDMI port, and also a 3.5millimeter headphone jack. They also have double ring Wi-Fi and Bluetooth v5.0.
The sound is managed by just two 2W speakers with DTS sound processing. They've Windows 10 Home Chinese Edition pre-installed. The RemdiBook 13 steps 307.3x195x17.8mm and weighs only 1.23kg. The RedmiBook 14 measures 320x203x16.85mm and weighs only 1.2kg. Last, the RemdiBook 16 measures 367.20x232.85x17.55mm and weighs only 1.8kg.
