Vivo Smart Retail Initiative Unveiled, Can Allow Customers Buy Phones From Retailers Without Leaving Their Home

Vivo has started a new initiative called'Vivo Smart Retail' in India That's aimed at helping offline retailers Return in business and connect with Clients.

As the lockdown restrictions are somewhat eased allowing standalone shops to open, Vivo will be leveraging its retail community including more than 20,000 merchants and 30,000 Vivo new ambassadors to address"the demand for smartphones throughout the country." Vivo states this version will encourage offline retailers in India while after the rules of the government.

Vivo Smart Retail brings new ways in which clients can interact with the merchants and the corporation. In its press release, the organization states that clients can send their product related questions to retailers through SMS (8955771110), reach out into the e-store at shop.vivo.com, or connect through the Facebook webpage (@vivoIndia). The SMS service is active while the other two platforms will be accessible to clients sometime before May 12. Vivo adds this initiative has been rolled out in a phased manner and will eventually be available throughout the country.

As per a report from 91Mobiles, the way this initiative function is Vivo will collect leads from customers which it will scan and pass to its retail partners. The retail partners will then ensure that the customers receive their device without needing to leave their homes. Concerning delivering the products, the report cites that Vivo will help its offline partners if they so require. In case the merchant is nearer to the customer, it is going to deliver the product by itself.

Impressive, Vivo is also taking orders on its website, providing customers an option to pre-book their desirable products. But, it does state that delivery delays can be expected on account of the coronavirus outbreak.
