The Vivo G1 5G, an upcoming smartphone from Vivo, has leaked ahead of its official launch.
This smartphone is headed to China and looks like a rebranded version of this Vivo S6 5G that launched earlier this month. The listing of the upcoming smartphone also shows its design and key specifications. Interestingly, this is going to be the first smartphone to be a part of the newest Vivo G series.
The Vivo G1 was reported on Weibo from tipster Digital Chat channel. The upcoming device is said to sport a 6.44-inch OLED display with a waterdrop top notch and full-HD+ resolution. The waterdrop top notch is reported to house a 32-megapixel selfie camera. In the back, the Vivo G1 includes a circular camera module that houses a quad-camera installation. The primary camera is reported to be a 48-megapixel detector, along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-camera and two 2-megapixel detectors.
As per the report, the upcoming Vivo G1 will be powered with a Samsung Exynos 980 SoC and is said to support 5G connectivity. The G1 is also said to package in a 4,500mAh battery together with assistance for 18W fast charging.
The report suggests that the new Vivo G1 will begin at CNY 3,000 (roughly around Rs. 32,000). No word at the moment on if Vivo will deliver this phone to India.
