Ola Partners With BMC to Enable Essential Medical Marijuana in Mumbai

Ola said on Wednesday it is partnering with Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to Encourage essential mobility during COVID-19.

Ola has provided a dedicated fleet of cars to BMC to help ferry medical staff, healthcare workers, and paramedical personnel from houses to hospitals in Mumbai.

The Ola automobiles will also be used to ferry physicians and BMC officials around Mumbai to assist the frontline warriors to struggle against COVID-19.

"We look forward to working with Ola to learn more ways of helping Mumbaikars in our struggle against COVID-19 from the genuine spirit of the city," explained Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope.

Ola said it's working closely with the police to guarantee all drivers and cars are outfitted with essentials like masks and sanitizers and will even make certain that the allowed cars are thoroughly disinfected regularly.

Lately, the company launched a new category called'Ola Emergency' from Bengaluru, Vizag, and Nashik to help citizens reach hospitals to get non-COVID related medical trips.
