Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has confirmed that it Provides a 4% Reduction in recharge cost to Customers who recharge Additional BSNL accounts, Consequently Essentially giving them a monetary reward for their actions.

The telecom operator had declared two schemes earlier this month to address lockdown challenges -'Apno Ki Madad Se Recharge' and Ghar Baithe Recharge'. While both of them addressed the problem of helping readers obtain their prepaid account done, they didn't have any cashback or another type of reward for recharging different accounts. Vodafone, Airtel, and Reliance Jio have announced cashback for users who recharge for many others, and now BSNL has also joined the bandwagon.
BSNL released a fresh version 2.0.46 update for its My BSNL app on Android, and also the changelog affirms the telecom operator is offering 4 percent discount to users that recharge for additional BSNL accounts. The program changelog also says that the legitimacy of this feature ends on May 31. The reduction has mainly been released to support users to help the not online-friendly BSNL readers throughout the pandemic. Due to complete lockdown, BSNL contributors are unable to recharge their accounts through traditional means like retail stores, and are forced to resort to online procedures for recharge. The previously announced a no ki madad se recharge' feature allows subscribers to ask a recharge by a friend or family. For using the Ghar Baithe Recharge' choice, the subscriber must call the toll free number 5670099 and ask for a recharge. An assigned BSNL executive will come at the subscriber's home and do the recharge manually for them.

As mentioned, Airtel has introduced a similar cashback scheme called the'Earn From Home' program. An Airtel subscriber has to enroll to become a Superhero, and then subsequent recharge of different people's prepaid account will make them money. Airtel offers an outright reduction of 4% in recharge amount, whereas the Superhero might have to pay less for the recharge . Vodafone Idea, on the other hand, offers around 6 percent cashback on recharges done for someone else. This recharge need to be performed employing the MyVodafone or even MyIdea apps.
