Flipkart urges that gradual opening up of shipping of non-essential items will help meet customer requirements and ease the load of piled up inventory of MSMEs. Amazon and Flipkart state they will ensure that the product shipping process will be run in a safe and protected method. The Indian government has banned all sale of non-essential products till May 3.

The country was under a complete lockdown because March 25, and it has been over a month because taxpayers have been able to procure any goods which are categorized as non-essential. This includes items that might be asked to get adjusted to the new standard of work from house, new smartphones in the event of sudden damage, children supplies which might not be categorized as necessary, and products that help with dealing with the increasing heat. Flipkart Group spokesperson says,"E-commerce will help fulfill these demands in a safe and protected way while ensuring social distancing and permitting the authorities in continuing their attempts to contain this situation.
